Additionally, we check with all patients before admission to determine recent travel history, potential exposure, and contact with anyone who has tested positive for the COVID virus. Likewise, we ascertain any signs of illness during the screening process. Any patients newly testing positive are not permitted to admit until they are tested negative. Staff that has been in direct contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or showing symptoms of infection are requested to observe the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
We’re familiarizing and encouraging both team members and clients to practice stringent hand washing while sidestepping skin-to-skin contact. We are also monitoring the health of our clients for any signs. Our team members have been instructed on the developments and signs of COVID-19.
